eCommerce Merchandising Assistant

Summary

The eCommerce Merchandising Assistant position is responsible for creating new product listings for a wide range of products for sale through multiple marketplaces. This role should strive to create visually appealing and persuasive listings that drive sales and optimize client brand and voice across websites and marketplaces.

Our ideal candidate is someone who enjoys a vigorous pace and who can produce error free results in a fast and efficient manner.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Drive sales through the creation of new product listings that optimize client brand and voice across websites and marketplaces.
  • Ownership of site experience (product page content, navigation, site search and ensuring product images are clear and concise).
  • Edit content to adapt to various client voices and customers on websites and marketplaces.  
  • Contribute to merchandising team efforts to increase conversion, sessions and engagement by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to persuade and sell
  • Strong problems solving skills - ability to identify, research and resolve
  • Extremely organized
  • Ability to multitask and change focus of brand and product
  • Excellent attention to detail; Ability to QA copy and content
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite
  • Knowledge or understanding of navigational functions is a plus
  • Salesforce and Adobe Photoshop experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of HTML is a plus

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Communications, or a relevant field of work, or, equivalent experience.
